Safety Controller

2 Series
Keeping your workers and equipment out of harm’s way is top priority when it comes to both productivity and peace of mind. That’s why IDEC offers high performance safety controllers to orchestrate multiple safety devices. SafetyOne FS1A safety controllers feature seven dual-channel safety inputs and do not require any programming or complicated wiring. With either 11 or 24 preprogrammed safety logic circuits in a compact housing, SafetyOne controllers allow you to build a safety circuit by simply sliding a DIP switch.
FS1B Safety Controller

Choose from 24 built-in safety control logics
The FS1B’s pre-loaded, pre-certified safety control logics suit a wide variety of users and applications. Simply select the logic that best suits your equipment setup and circuit pattern.
There are logic options for equipment with multiple access points, for spaces where robots (cobots) and humans work together, and many more. Use cases and circuit diagrams for all 24 logics are provided in the product catalog.
Make certification and safe operations more straightforward
The FS1B is a solution designed to prioritize safety. Every built-in logic complies with international safety standards and has been certified by a trusted independent body. The circuit logic patterns are compatible with systems up to Safety Category 4 and PLe.
Pre-certification streamlines the overall approval process for your machinery and logic setup. There is no need to seek recertification after circuit pattern design changes.
No programming or software required
Logics can quickly be selected with DIP switches and implemented without programming knowledge. Simply choose a logic number and get started.
You can also pre-test logics with the safety controller’s logic simulator. No need to install software – access the simulator via the link on this page.
Ideal for controlling small-scale systems
Use the FS1B safety controller to monitor up to 6 input devices and up to 4 output devices in a single system. It can be used to control emergency stop switches, light curtains, interlock switches, safety laser scanners, and many other safety input and safety output devices.
